Calendar and Post it Note Holder

I created 7 of these for my co-workers for Christmas this year. I used an Acrylic 4 X 6 photo frame. I inserted a 4 X 6 piece of designer paper from K & Company. I also made a matching pen. The calendar can be created by using a calendar program. You'll want to print all 12 months on one 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of paper then cut the months apart to create a mini calendar.

Simple Christmas Message

I have had a creative block lately. Its a wonder I have a card to post at all today. I used a stamp set I purchased from Walmart last year. They had a bunch of small acrylic sets and I picked this Ornament set up at that time. I stamped the ornaments on white cardstock with Black Stazon. Then watercolored the ornaments with a dark purple, light purple and pink pigment ink from a ColorBox Petal Point called Aurora. I then added some silver glitter glue and let them dry before I cut them out. I added some silver cord from Stampin Up to make the ornaments look like they are hanging. I added a sentiment from another acrylic set Walmart carried last year. Before mounting I sponged the image and sentiment with the light purple Colorbox ink. The card base is Eggplant Envy cardstock (retired) from Stampin Up. Thanks for visiting today.

Notebook/Purse and Pen

I can't take credit for this cute little notebook/purse and matching pen. I found it on a blog by Inking Idaho check out her project by clicking this link. Here

I used a composition notebook that I purchased at Dollar General. I was able to get 3 for $1.00. I cut the corners off to make it look more like a purse. Then covered it with Stampin Up Designer Paper. (I believe the paper is retired now.) Added the Moss Grosgrain ribbon for the handles. Then made a binding from the other side of the designer paper. The pen came from Walmart they come in a box of 12 and are produced by Discover. (Cheap) I inserted a small strip of the designer paper into the pen so it would coordinate.

An Apple a Day

I created a Get Well Soon card this evening. The H1N1 virus has arrived in our Community and I'm sure I will find someone to send this to. The card stock is Pixie Pink and Old Olive paper from Stampin Up. The designer paper is K & Company - Greenhouse by Carolyn Gavin. The sentiment comes from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set from Stampin Up. The floral embellishments are from a floral stem I purchased at Hobby Lobby. I take the floral stem apart to use the petals on my cards. This is much cheaper than the purchasing floral embellishments. I also added 3 pale yellow brads to the flowers. Take care and stay well. Chris
